TTD GEARS UP FOR “SRI JAYA NAMA SAMVATSARA UGADI FETE”

TIRUPATI, MARCH 29:  The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTDs) is all set to welcome “Sri Jaya Nama Samvatsara Telugu Ugadi” on March 31 in a grand festive manner.
The ceremonious fete which will be observed under the aegis of TTD Welfare Department and Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad (HDPP) at Mahati Auditorium. TTD has designed unique set of programmes this time. The Panchanga Sravanam will be delivered by Dr Vedantam Rajagopala Chakravarthy by 9.30am. This is followed by Kavi Sammelan by eminent poets of Telugu literature. Then there will be the release of the spiritual book let of “Dharma Shankaravam”.
Apart from the “Kavi Sammelanam”, this time the competitions in “Sampradaya Veshadharana”(Traditional fashion dress show) and “Telugu Vantakalu”- (traditional mouth-watering recipes of Telugu people) are going to add the extra taste Ugadi Celebrations contemplated by TTD.
Later the prizes to the winners in competitions conducted to the employees in Quiz, Essay Writing, Elocution, Kavi Sammelan, Telugu Vantakalu and Sampradaya Vesha Dharana will be given at the end of the programme.
The employees of TTD will take part in this programme in Telugu vari Sampradaya Veshadharana. Meanwhile there will be special cultural programmes in the evening including “Sapthagiri Sankeertanalu” by eminent Violinist and TTD Astana Vidwanmani Kumari Kanya Kumari, Sri Rama Sankeertanamu and Annamaiah Amritha Vahini by artistes of Annamacharya Project between 5pm to 9pm.

JEO REVIEWS ON SRI KAPILESWARA SWAMY VARU BRAHMOTSAVAMS

TIRUPATI, OCT 21:  TTD Joint Executive Officer of Tirupati Sri P Bhaskar reviewed on Sri Sri Kapileswara Swamy Varu Brahmotsavams which is scheduled to take place from February 20 to March 1 this year.
Reviewing the arrangements for the Brahmotsavams with the officials at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati, here on Saturday, the JEO directed the officials to conduct the mega religious festival in a grand manner without any compromise on arrangements.
He told the concerned officials to give wide publicity to the festival in the surrounding villages and hamlets with the help of publicity materials like posters, pamphlets and booklets. The JEO asked the garden and electricity departments to make colourful arrangements with floral diaromas, electrical cut outs depicting the mythological themes like in Tirumala. He also directed vigilance and health departments to make elaborate arrangements of security and see the surroundings be kept clean round the clock in their respective areas.
DyEOs Sri Chandrasekhar Pillai, Sri Balaji, Smt Sarada, DPP Spl Officer Sri Raghunath, DE Sri Chandrasekhar, Executive Engineer Sri Jagadeeswara Reddy, Garden Suptd Srinivas and other officials were also present.
