Do you know that “UPAKARMA” (Avani Avittam) for Yajur Veda falls on 5th of August 2009 on a Wednesday.



Many of us would be busy with their regular routine and office work and hence would not have time to go to a temple or a place where people gather to perform their Upakarma rites on that day. Also a priest (Vaadhyar) may not be available to come to your place to make us perform the rites.



However, aeveryone would be interested in performing the rites. Don’t worry, we have build an online platform to satisfy your interest by bringing a Vaadhyar right in front of you, online.



Would you be interested to participate in a LIVE BROADCAST of the Upakarma? You will have a Vaadhyar taking you through all the rites to be performed. If yes, please visit and register at www.traditionalwisdom.in

* You can register for the live Upakarma by providing the required details like Vedam, Gothram (These are made mandatory only to avoid unnecessary registrations)
* You have to Log IN with the same name and password used while registration to participate in the live Upakarma.
* Once done you would see the video screen where you can see the live shoot from the video camera here on 5th August. Please note there would be no video before that as this is a live broadcast and would be available on 5th August
* In case of text or voice interaction, please click on do you want interaction?
* You will have a separate window wherein you can enter your name in the window near Login
* You can type the text messages as usual for text chat
* In case you wish to talk, then enable Auto button at the bottom of the voice slot.
* When you talk you can see the green light - indicating that your voice is getting transmitted.
* Please disable auto once you have finished talking

There will be a coordinator sitting near the Vaadhyar to interact with the users to text or voice chat. Since the user would be performing the rites, we request that he should have a person to interact in case of any clarifications.



Be happy that you have performed the rites with the guidance of a Vaadhyar, though you are thousands of miles away.
