U are already in the knowledge that pooja known as AYILYA POOJA which is conducted on ASHLESHA star on Every month,is mainly in Kerala Temples.

On this day the Lord Nagaraja and other Naga devathas are worshipped by Milk and Haldi powder Abhisekha.Since kerala temples are particular about white flower from coconut tree,they are using this too

liberally.
