Inauguration of Archaka Training Programme

Sri V.Seshadhri inaugurated the programme by lightning the Lamp at SVETA Bhavan, Tirupati on March 3,2009. Archakas from Karnataka state have participated in the programme.

Tirupati 3 March (P.R.O) In order to establish the National Institute of Temple Administration as well as extending SVETA Activities for the people from other states, necessary steps are being taken told Sri V.Seshadhri, Joint Executive Officer, TTDs. On Tuesday morning he has inaugurated the week long training programme for the Archakas from Karnataka State.

Speaking on the occassion the Joint Executive Officer said that although TTDs providing good training for the archakas on Pooja Vidhanam from different parts of the Andhra Pradesh state, on the request of the other states we have started this training. He assured that the pooja system in the temples should be performed as per the sastras and traditions, once they take good training here. He also said the Government of Karnataka has requested the TTD to provide training for 700 archakas from their state. He requested the archakas to give their valuable feed back about the training in SVETA so as to do necessary changes.

Earlier Sri V.Seshadhri inaugurated the programme by lightning the Lamp.

Sri Bhuman, Director SVETA, Dr. Vedantham Vishnu Bhattacharyulu, Co-ordinator of this programme, 45 archakas from Karnataka state have participated in this programme.
